Bill's latest builds |
You may remember Bill's
awesome sporty chopper from Iron Horse magazine a few years ago
which I was lucky enough to get more details
of for Greasy Kulture! And now,
I'm stoked to be able to bring you the fruits of Bill's labours over the winter:
another sporty (check out the crazy 21 incher
on the back!) and a Model A coupe!
As Bill says himself,
modestly, he's had a "pretty productive" few months. Here are some
words from Bill,
and remember, if you want something similarly kool to put in your garage,
then email the man himself.
"Guy, I whipped up
the car and bike over winter hope you like them.
Bike specs are 21" rear wheel, '65 XLCH motor built with mostly N.O.S.parts,
S &S rods, early S&S carb.,
N.O.S. transmission, Barnett kevlar clutch, N.O.S. Manx rear fender, home
made sissy bar (not yet chrome plated in photos), and
old flanders bars. The bike has a lot of details like internal seat springs,
weird push-pull petcock, english tank with small offset filler hole and handmade
goatskin seat by Tom Fugel. Paint is by "young gun" Brent Elesen. Pinstriping
is by local hero Jimmy the Greek.
The flathead model A coupe
features no parts newer than '48 and is made to blast down dirt roads here
in Iowa: no need for wax
.. ... thanx again Guy, Bill."
