Bill's too-kool collection

Bill Mize sent me these great pictures from
the USA. How cool is this guy?

You may recognise the bike from a feature in "Iron Horse" years ago. Bill says:

"Here are the basics. If you have questions please ask. ALL this stuff is homegrown: no fibreglass!
Car was complete barnyard junk. 1000 hours later done!!
7 months start to finish. '31 Ford body: chopped 2", chanelled 5".
'31 Ford frame: boxed, z'd. Motor: 1968 327 large journal block , Offy 3x2 intake,
Rochester 2g carbs, roller rocker arms,
Schneider cam, solid lifters, Mallory dual pont ignition, Schifer alum. flywheel,
Muncie 4 speed trans. Hurst comp. plus shifter,
409 shift handle, 1966 Ford 9" posi-traction rear end. Transverse mounted buggy springs front, back,
16 " early Ford steel wheels, Buick brakes,
bias ply tires, Ford juice brakes , '56 Ford truck steering gear, '40 Ford steering wheel,
Moon gauges, stock gas tank. Car is crazy fast and gets driven almost daily.

Chopper is 1966 XLCH-based. Frame: '66 harley front section. Front end is RL springer ,wheels.. akront alum.
Tires .. Goodyear "glow wall" rear 18", Avon 2.75"x21" front.

Bike has foot clutch, hand shift, no front brake, no rear suspension, Moon oil tank,
motor all orig. except carb. (bolts nuts everything).

Handlebars are Schwinn apple krate , seat , grips silver ...metal flake. Tank ,fender .. red candy metal flake.
Again this thing is homemade and quite anti H.O.G.

All my shit is built by me in my small garage listening to early Los Angeles scene punk rock with
very little farming out of speciality work.
I guess that is why the stuff turns out so warped. list of people to thank ...
my super-cool wife, Victor Feese.. the king! Rod, Steve, Buddy, Jimmy, Mike, Marv, Don, Randy, Scott & T.S.O.L ...
P.S. anyone needing this type of stuff made can feel free to contact me.
Thanx, good luck with your page Guy. Do you still covet my truck?"
