The
original hell-raisers.
You probably
know the story: in 1947, a sleepy town called Hollister in northern California
was
overrun by gangs of drunken motorcyclists. They ended up on the cover of 'Life'
magazine, and folks
all over America suddenly realised that the devil wears cuffed Levis, engineer
boots and rides a bobbed Harley!

Stanley
Kramer, a Hollywood producer, used the 'Life' story as
the basis for a film starring Marlon Brando in 1954, 'The Wild One'.
But hey, we all know Lee Marvin's Chino was the real kool kat, right?
