The Baron's flying machine!
Hey, London's finally
getting hip to the ol' bobber thang!
Damn, I used to ride my shovel chopper around wondering if I was
the only geezer in the UK who'd seen The Wild One and
drooled over the trad chops in Iron Horse every month.
Baron Dick Smith, chopping
aristocrat, runs a speed and hop-up shop for
people like us in Sarf London. Here's one of his excellent cycles, 'The Delinquent'.
He says: "Hi
Guy, this is Dick Smith from the Baron's speed shop. It's been a long haul
but we're getting there,
remaking those old hard to find ribbed fenders & those old Bates styled fork
covers
as well as the detachable end cap cocktail shaker mufflers & white footrest
rubbers for Triumph,.
plus all the other parts we are importing from the States to the UK.
I'd like to thank you
for your inspiration with the web-mag & Wes White of Four Aces cycle supply
in LA,
who I met through your site, and have now become good friends.
He lent me the nos samples of some hard to find parts to remanufacture here
in the UK.
The bike is well hopped up and was painted my good friend Mike Watts.
