In 1965, Bill Ray was commissioned to photograph the San Berdoo chapter of the Hells Angels, the ‘mother charter’. The photos appeared online a few years ago, but have never been published… until now. We reproduce some of them here, as we talk to Bill about his shoot with the Angels 46 years ago.
